With the evenings drawing in and the girls at school all day there’s nothing like a piece of cake or a homemade cookie to eat when you get in from the school run. So it’s time to scour the recipe books for all sorts of cakes and biscuits to fill that gap between arriving home from school ratty and tired and dinner time.
Also an excellent healthy addition to lunch boxes ;)

BritMums Pro reached out and asked who’d like to put their blog forward to work with Whitworths? I said yes and Whitworths sent me through their brand new Whitworths for Baking sugar range.
The range has been especially created with bakers of all abilities in mind to help make it easier and more enjoyable, the sugar is packaged in quantities frequently asked for in recipes and the new re-sealable bags Stand Up On Their Own, no more sugar all over the work top!
The range can be found in Asda, Tesco and Waitrose and each pack is colour coded, look out for the Twist and Sprinkle icing sugar duster with a built in sieve too.
