Marble Run, RAV battery charger and Kettle Chips

Hubelino Marble run

Hubelino Marble Run

When we get our marble run out it never fails to keep the girls (and dad) amused for hours on end. It was definitely one of our better choices of gift over the years and is still going strong. So when Hubelino got in touch and asked to take a look at their marble run, which is 100% based on LEGO Duplo compatibility, we said yes, send it over.

Hubelino, a German company based in Aachen on the border with France design and produce their product to all high European standards. It is brightly coloured and very simple to build over and over again in all kinds of different combinations. Plus if you have a big box of Duplo like we do the skies are the limit. You can build jumps like we did, and it worked!

This has been a huge hit with the twins and where I had every intention to pass it on to my grandson Evan who is three the girls don’t want to let it go!

Verdict 10/10

RAV phone battery charger

ravThe RAV battery charger brought on a lot of giggles when I first posted an image on my Instagram feed asking followers to tell me what it was but I can tell you it is a very effective piece of kit.

It’s neat compact shape makes it easy to carry in a handbag – just don’t forget the lead that goes with it like I did the first time I took it out with me and couldn’t charge my phone! It is also available in many different colours.

If you are out of the house all day and use your phone a lot this could be a very useful gadget to invest in. As you notice your phone is running low you simply plug the lead into one end of the RAV and the other into your phone and presto, your phone starts to charge from it.

Perfect for travelling, long commutes, busy phone days and so much more. It also has a handy torch at the other end. Cost £39.99

Verdict: 10/10

Kettle Chips – Limited edition – Salsa & Mesquite

kettle chips vintageWho doesn’t love Kettle Chips? I do and weekly a packet goes into my shopping trolley to enjoy over the weekend. For this very reason I was so curious to try one of their vintage flavours coming out in Limited Edition in time for the festive season. I have been sent through Salsa & Mesquite in a beautiful red, eye catching bag. Salsa & Mesquite was one of the original seasonings  when the brand was first launched in the UK in 1988 – same year as my tommy was born so it had to be a good year right?

Salsa & Mesquite is a combination of tomatoes, chillies, pepper and barbecue aroma which you know we love in this house. In 2007 someone in Kettle Chips HQ decided to drop the flavour and fans have been hassle-ing the company ever since to bring it back, there’s even a Facebook group!

Verdict 10/10
