Christmas Jumper day – 13th December – Save The Children

Christmas jumpers #savethechildren

JUST what you were looking for, the perfect excuse to get your kitsch Christmas jumper out and wear it in public and do a good deed whilst you are at it.

Save the Children is calling on the UK to make the world better with a sweater on Friday 13th December 2013 in exchange for a £1 donation.

All money raised from Christmas Jumper Day activities will help save the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. In the world’s poorest countries.

More than 7 million children die every year from easily preventable causes like diarrhoea and malnutrition. Simple solutions, like vaccines and mosquito nets save lives – so by getting friends and colleagues to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper day on Friday 13th December and donating £1, you can help make a real difference.

You can buy your Christmas jumper from John Lewis, official retail partner of Christmas Jumper Day and £25 from the sale of every jumper in the Save the Children range goes to the charity.

Wear your jumper on Christmas Jumper Day on 13 December and donate £1 to Save the Children at and photos you take use the hashtag #xmasjumperday so we can RT them and find them on Instagram.
