Canary Wharf – London

canary wharrf

One of my earlier attempts at great photography and an image I am particularly proud of. I took it at Canary Wharf London one summer when we went up to meet daddy on his lunch break.

It was a sunny day and Canary Wharf was a happy smiley place to be.

I love the way the buildings opposite are reflected in the windows in front of the girls and I also like the way all the powerful glass and steel is counterbalanced with the cuteness of the 3 year old twins swinging on the railings and having fun.

They were amazed at how tall the buildings were in Canary Wharf! And there was one duck on the water below ;)

Gorgeous photo! I was watching Something About Mary last night (for the millionth time) and loved a shot taken of the back of Ben Stiller’s head, a really poignant moment when he revealed how rubbish his life would be without Diaz and it meant so much not being able to see his face! Fab!

Love their dresses, also do not fancy being the window cleaner in that building

Ha ha, I’d hate to clean any tall building’s windows … imagine doing the Shard *shudders at thought*

Ha! Wait a couple of years and she might let you again – my 22 year old does but drops HEAVY hints as to which one ;)

I like the shot of colour from the girls dresses in contrast to the grey surroundings.

Thanks, it’s funny I wasn’t thinking of any of that when I took the photo but I’m pleased it worked so well

Love the contrast of colour and cuteness with the modern grey architecture, very clever
