The FORTNIGHT that was 365/16 + 17

TheBoyandMe's 365 LinkyI really didn’t get time last weekend to prepare a 365 and this week I’ve been rushing around too but I don’t want to miss out on my diary entries so here goes

13th April – Saturday

Hopscotch, indoors with princesses. The girls passion for princesses never wanes and are an enormous part of their games. I’m very pleased to see that current favourite is Jasmine, Aladdin’s sidekick as she wears trousers and this may help me get the girls to wear them more frequently

14th – Sunday oops no photo

15th – Monday – last day at home we went to buy new sun hats – took photo can’t find it!

16th – Tuesday – We had three windows changed. when we moved in the windows were high on the hit list of things to do, you can see why in the first image, they were all blown. We asked for money as wedding presents from our family to use for this purpose and I never knew I’d feel so excited about new windows!

17th – Wednesday – I made some fresh bread, I tried the rapid loaf and this is the result. In all honesty it wasn’t as good as the first loaf

18th – Thursday – The girls have PE on a Thursday and it makes me smile to see how they’ve dressed themselves afterwards. This week both had their shoes on the wrong feet :)

19th – Friday – Mum’s birthday and she’s over for dinner. I spent the day cleaning and cooking – no photo

20th – Saturday – Our first caravan trip away this year. We took the van down to the beach where it will be stored all summer, the girls enjoyed the park and the swimming pool and these are a couple of our neighbours and our van in the middle photo … I know where I want to be sleeping!

I had more time to use my camera so I tried a few shots of the forsythia – it was dusk and the light isn’t good I discovered.

BUT this caught my eye – the sunset glistening on the windows of a far off tower block

21st – Sunday – Park and pool and then back home to get ready for the week

22nd – Monday – BiBs overtake my life no more time for reading books for me but I did enjoy this on Sunday

reading a book

23rd – Tuesday – I’m drowning in BiBs but the girls are happy to enjoy the garden after gymnastics today. They are also intrigued to find footprints and are tickled to hear me say the local fox has been playing on there when no one is looking ;)

24th – Wednesday – Starting to come up for air – I make some brown bread but it doesn’t work out :(

25th – Thursday – I step outside in the sunshine today and am greeted by this in my back garden

26th Friday – End of the week, rain but look at this gorgeous blossom I have hanging over my fence from next door

A fabulous selection of photos. I particularly like the shot of the sun on the tower block!

I can tell when my son has PE. Socks are usually inside out and he has come home with his boxers on back to front before!

you have packed in so much this last fortnight! the wrong shoes pic made me smile – if you hadn’t told me I wouldn’t have noticed straight away mind the camping photos and it looks like you got some nice weather for it too. and the trampolining in their gymnastics clothes is also amusing x x

Wow a busy couple of weeks. The picture of the sun reflecting on the building makes it look like it’s on fire! The wrong shoes made me laugh – I’ve seen that a few times.

I love your comments about the princess hopscotch! My eldest daughter is the exact opposite- I cannot get her out of baggy jeans and hoodies! She looks so lovely in a dress! :D
