I’m late posting my 365 for last week as I was busy over the weekend as you may know. On Saturday I got married to my soulmate and on Sunday I invited the family back to ours to celebrate Mother’s Day seeing as I had my kids over from Italy with their kids.
So just to make sure I don’t miss a week here we are my personal faves from the week 2 – 8 March 2013
Saturday – I climbed Snowdon! I CLIMBED Snowdon. It was exhausting, I realised just how much as the first few days passed and my legs ceased to work. Walking to school and kerbs were a nightmare – excruciatingly painful BUT I did it and together as TeamHonk we raised over £5000. THANK YOU to each and every one of my sponsors who helped me close to £500
Sunday – I could still walk but my muscles started to cease as I sat down for periods of time ie the train journey home. On my way through St Pancras station this tiger caught my eye. He’s been completely made out of milk bottles, tops and other recycable items for Tiger Awareness, one is being killed in the world every day and there are only about 3500 left!
Monday – I can barely walk, the stairs are a massive obstacle but have to be tackled. I take Nurofen and drink lots of tea but I bask in the Team Honk glory. I’m on countdown for the wedding – so much to do, so little time. the sun is shining and I am able to hang our washing on the line for the first time in ages
Tuesday – I travel up to London, Jean has prepared the most fantastic props for the wedding including this fabulous table plan. Isn’t it beautiful? I struggle up and struggle back but what a magnificent prize I bring home.
Wednesday – Jay Mountford, my wedding photographer sends along a gift of cards to place on the table so our guests have access to the wedding photos, a fabulous handmade brooch and some Haribos which the girls LOVED. I go to Little Hermitage to drop off all of our bits for the wedding and I also travel to Gatwick to pick up oldest Daughter from Italy with granddaughter … the house starts to get busy
Thursday – chat with Jay on Google + and LOVE having my girls with me. Gracey is a sweetheart and she and the twins hit off immediately – the house is trashed with toys but it’s lovely having them around
Friday – BUSY day, over to Bluewater to pick up my dress, make a Chapel of Love with Gracey, finish off putting together the Bags of Happiness – blog post to follow and another trip to Gatwick to collect Oldest Son, his wonderful fiance and their baby Evan who is AD. OR. ABLE
