Mr Tumble toys

something special toysMr Tumble has been a firm favourite in this house for years and the girls even copy his Makatron sign language when they watch him. I’m not sure how much they remember but it’s important that as they grow it’s something they will recognise should they notice it.

A simple yet powerful message, Mr Tumble’s colourful show Something Special focuses on children with additional needs and by having them with him on his daily show these children are brought into our homes on a daily basis and little ones like mine have no need to think anything regarding their various differences such as speech, hearing or sight. These children are accepted simply as children who are lucky enough to be with Mr Tumble.

An excellent idea.

Now Golden Bear (big toy making people) are rolling out their new Something Special collection and on being asked if I’d like to review it I jumped at the chance because I know a lot of special children are going to love these toys and I know a lot of parents will be interested in hearing more.

I was sent three products from the range to review for you

Mr Tumble Activity Toy – Press Mr Tumbles hand to hear 6 fun phrases and his nose lights up too. He has an opening waistcoat, soft textured fabric and a rattle to stimulate senses. His hair is really soft and he’ll make a wonderful companion to any boy or girl. RRP £16.99

I popped over from Britmum linky thing today. Love Mr Tumble, my children would have been all over these a few years ago, my youngest may still like the doll. Feel a bit sad that we might not have one of these in our lives but I will keep in mind for presents.

Something Special is fantastic. It has helped teach my 3 year old with Cerebral Palsy, and the whole family, to sign. Just a shame these products are sold out & everyone seems to be flogging them on ebay…my son would have loved a Mr Tumble doll :-(

Oh how sad, I’ll send the PR company a note of your message and see if they have any news on where you can buy the product ;)
