John Crane Recorders

Q: What could John Crane do with a huge surplus box of their beautiful wooden recorders?

A: Give them away to Mari’s World readers!

One of my very first toy reviews for John Crane was of their fabulous Rainbow Recorders and now they’re relocating offices they have a whole boxful up for grabs! AND you don’t have to be a blogger to get one.

They are beautifully made and they are actual recorders so can be taken to school too for music lessons. I will admit to taking ours off the girls and putting them to one side for playing when I can handle the noise as right now they just blow as loudly as they can but I know in a year or two when they’re ready to learn these will be perfect.

John Crane and Blog Match need to empty the box out and quick so to have one of your very own all you need to do is leave a comment below who you want a recorder for and then send an email to

helen@john-crane.co.uk

Put RECORDER in the subject line and tell Helen and Amy from John Crane your name and address (which will be used solely for the give away) so they can post one out to you, add if it’s for a boy or girl too although colour cannot be promised and the recorders will be sent out on a first come first served basis so don’t waste time

What they would like you to do with your recorder is simple and can be done via Facebook and/or Twitter if you have an account.

1.  Take some photographs of your child playing the recorder – in interesting locations… (or videos too if you are a vlogger) the more photos the merrier (Remember photos can be taken of just the recorder, or from behind/on top/to the side if you’re worried about your child’s identity)

2.  Post them to Twitter saying ” Toot Toot with #tidlobyjohncrane – we love our @johncraneblog recorder from www.john-crane.co.uk

3.  Add the photos to your own Facebook page with the comment “Toot toot toot with Tidlo by John Crane at www.john-crane.co.uk”

4.  TAG John Crane Toys on your photos on Facebook!

Please post at least one photo to the Blog Match Facebook Page and/or tag Blog Match in your own photos.

Fancy playing the game? If, like me, you are a twin mum try asking for two ;)

Wishing you lots of fun with your recorders!

I’d love a recorder for my son! As noisy as he is on his own, it would be fantastic to help him channel this “noise” into music. :-)

Hi Mari, can you still request a recorder if you can’t post any photos to facebook? I only have a twitter account but could post them on there. Also can you request them for your brothers/sisters or does it need to be a guardian?

If so, I’d love to receive one, two or three for my little brother (7), my little sister (5 and a half) and my littlest sister (2 and a half). I’m sure they’d all share one but if they need to be taken, we’d be very happy to receive them!

    Thank you.
