Sunshine – The Gallery

Today for Tara’s 101 edition she has chosen Sunshine as her prompt and haven’t we been lucky this past week? We are all enjoying some fabulous weather after such a long stint of cold, grey wet skies.

I decided to go with a photo I took on my recent trip to Butlins Skegness, of the beach there, as sadly I didn’t get to try it out due to the terrible weather we had that weekend BUT just look how gorgeous it is, it certainly makes me want to go back again and spend a day on those sands.

I quite like how this photo came out as practically it is blue skies and sand but the swirl of cloud adds a bit of interest to the shot.

Happy Gallery!

That is beautiful and I can’t believe that for a gorgeous day how deserted that beach is.

Ah but it was only 10am and not as warm as it looks, it had been anorak weather for the previous 3 days with torrential rain ;) plus it was also day of departure I was determined to take a look to get the best shots for my review

It was! I can tell you that in hot weather I wouldn’t be traipsing right down the other end with bags, children, buckets and spades no sir-ee!

Thanks Jenny, what made it even more special was the sun was shining after 3 days of torrential rain and howling winds – who’d have known it eh?

We have a beautiful coast don’t we? Shame the weather’s not always playing ball so we can enjoy them, imagine the Olympians we’d have?

Beaches rock my world. Love the way the sand slopes up in the corner – catches your eye as you look at the photo.

Gorgeous! Skegness always seem to get a bad reputation…a bit like Blackpool but I love Blackpool (we used to go there as kids as my Dad was born there). I do fancy checking Skegness out some day xx

Oh what a perfect picture! The colour of the sky, the texture of the sand and that tiny, wispy little cloud. I could dip my toes in the water.
