A stitch in time – latest needlework project

Unfinished masterpiece!

1 – lovingly cross stitched piece of work

100’s of tiny stitches in various colours making up a pattern

1000’s of days past since the start of this project

1,000,000’s of loving thoughts to accompany my grand-daughter Gracey through her happy life.

A billion hugs and kisses for her to collect as and when she pleases

This is my photo for Tara’s Gallery this week with the theme of numbers.

    Ah how lovely!
I’ve just been reading your previous post about Megan. We had a wonderful holiday in Lake Garda last year. Hope you have a fabulous time when you’re re-united. x

When I lived in Italy we were 40 mins from the Lake and I spent a lot of time with the children as they were growing up down there. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to going back, to see the twins enjoy it, to show it to my OH and to see both Megan, Ale and Gracey again. Fun ahead!

Thank you ladies! It’s taking me a lot longer than I care to say and now so close to the end I can’t wait to finish it.

Ha! Thanks for the compliment, as for time… it’s close to two years I’ve been working on it and it’s not exactly difficult. :)

Very nice idea for the gallery. I used to cross stitch when I was growing up but haven’t done for 20 years. Maybe I will return, seeing what a gorgeous gift it can made.

You should try it! We mustn’t let these old pastimes fade away in favour of the PC!
