Yeah, my teenage daughter and I, love going to Butlins, and have done for the past 10 years on and off. We always go to the Skegness resort, for us its the best and only 2 hours up the road!! We are going Aug Bank holiday for 5 days, but as there is so much to do, it always feels like we have had a weeks holiday as its non stop.

Thanks for your fab comment, I’m so glad you agree and what an excellent tip about the Sun Breaks, we’ve done loads of those and I didn’t know Butlins were part of the scheme. I could have written so much more – a book! but then it would get boring

Was this last weekend ? The weather was shocking wasn’t it …. I can fully agree with everything you have said in this review, it was fabulous. For those who want to try and not pay full price, do the sun tokens and there will be an option in the book for simply skegness, minehead or bognor regis (nothing else just the town) these are butlin resorts. The entertainment far exceeds any haven I have stopped in and a funfair that is unlimited is great value with two kids.

Sadly that old tag is still hanging on in some minds and that is why they are so determined to shift it. They have moved on BIG time and we will definitely be going back because we had so much fun AND it’s so clean. One thing I always notice on other similar holidays are dirty sticky tables in the bar, not here everything is gleaming

Hold on, weather was only great on the day we were leaving! The previous 3 days it tipped it down with rain but the beauty of Butlins is there’s so much to do, we even saw a panto Jack and the Beanstalk and it was brilliant.

Did you manage to drag him away from the rides? Such a good idea having them indoors isn’t it? Paul can’t wait to go back for the food, we’ll definitely be doing that package again

It was better than amazing I can’t put in words just how much we enjoyed ourselves and keep in mind it was chucking down rain from morn till night. Keep it in mind because it’s a perfect break with little ones
