It’s been a while now that we have had a box of random Duplo bricks in the house, a hand me down that has kept Daddy busy making all sorts of creations for the girls and then I received an email asking me to choose a Duplo set around the £40 mark. Well I got very excited, after all Lego and Duplo have been part of our family forever. I can remember my younger brother being engrossed for hours and hours with his 1990′s Lego Star Wars sets that were the thing of the day and my oldest son Tommy, now 24 was also a huge fan building aeroplanes and model cars which I had to dust around with the utmost care.
There is no denying that to buy a set of Lego Duplo can be pricey but it’s worth remembering that it’s indestructable and it does not go out of fashion like many other toys. It can be passed down father to son even mother to daughter now with the gorgeous girly products being developed and still be in perfect condition so it really should be seen as an investment toy.
