Mr Tumble has been a firm favourite in this house for years and the girls even copy his Makatron sign language when they watch him. I’m not sure how much they remember but it’s important that as they grow it’s something they will recognise should they notice it.
A simple yet powerful message, Mr Tumble’s colourful show Something Special focuses on children with additional needs and by having them with him on his daily show these children are brought into our homes on a daily basis and little ones like mine have no need to think anything regarding their various differences such as speech, hearing or sight. These children are accepted simply as children who are lucky enough to be with Mr Tumble.
An excellent idea.
Now Golden Bear (big toy making people) are rolling out their new Something Special collection and on being asked if I’d like to review it I jumped at the chance because I know a lot of special children are going to love these toys and I know a lot of parents will be interested in hearing more.
